The foodservice offer for the forecourt of tomorrow
With the advancement of electric vehicles and changing consumer demands towards health and sustainability, the future of the forecourt is evolving.
As part of its 2030 strategy, bp wanted to innovate to redefine customers’ experience of convenience. By leveraging their existing foodservice offer, they wanted to lead the way in creating higher expectations for forecourt food and drink. But doing so required the time, resources, and expertise to delve into customer needs and shape the future offer.
By partnering with us, we came as close to their customers as possible. We gathered data and insights through a UK-wide research programme that included focus groups, food tasting sessions, and our purpose-built food truck – all to create The Café, the first iteration and testing hub for the foodservice offer of the future.
